Definat Ones - PS3 Clan

Defiant Ones was founded by Independent & Citizen-Killer on Socom 2. It began as a couple friends casually gaming, but eventually became something more. D.O realized that they could compete with top clans and thus the competitive spirit was born.

Members of this team tend to become a tight knit group of friends looking for a challenge and ready to take on anyone. Most played together from Socom 2 through the rest of the series, onto the PS3 through the resistance series, the RB6 Series the COD series and most other popular shooters. If someone finds a game that's fun, the rest usually pick it up.

While externally we'll always display respect and sportsmanship, by nature we all love to have fun, bullshit and talk shit on each other. We give motivation through calling out your mistakes and constructive criticism. This is something that you should come to expect. If you find yourself on the wrong side of a joke, and you will, you gotta take it and roll with it... otherwise, "you gots to go!" If you take smart-ass comments personal, this is NOT the team for you.

"Let the Horses Run"

We're a team that has players with a wide range of talent. As far as gamebattles, tournaments, leagues and any other competitive matches, we're going to "let the horses run." What we mean by this is that the best will play. No feelings involved, if we're about to play a 6v6, the best 6 on at that time will play. If a match is going and you're not permforming, you will probably be subbed out.

Now if we have 8 people on, we're going to look for a 8v8. We're all friends and we all want to play, but it doesn't always work out like that. We do have casual & competitive rosters and if you want to play in a match it will usually happen.

While we're talking about matches, if for any reason you ever bail on the team in a match, you better have a damn good reason (house was on fire, gunman entered your home, ect.). Otherwise, you will be removed from the team permanently.

The Casual Side of Things

Those that choose to play casually are the heart of the team. They have the same say as any other member. We run casual team rosters on gamebattles with every member of the team, that wants to be, on the roster (competitive & casual). A lot of the casual players simply choose to play in ranked matches when they're on. This is fine, just play together with other team members.

The casual rosters are considered the "team rosters" and is where the majority of our matches get played. Everyone on the roster is welcome to play in any match and will not be subbed out unless requested by the player. This is regardless of: how long it's been since they last played & how good they are at the current game.

While the roster is considered "casual," we still want to win every match. We're not here to lose matches, but if it does happen it's just another game. Full criticism usually flies in casual matches and members are still required to finish the games they started. The same "bail rule" applies to the casual roster.

Casual members will never be cut from the team for inactivity or poor performance and will remain members unless they choose to leave or get cut by a team leader. This is as long as they remain active on the forums, some kind of communication is required. Post once a month and let us know what's going on.

No Glitching or Cheating

We do not permit glitching or cheating in ranked games or clan matches, but we'll fight fire with fire. We'll give you an honest match if you give us an honest match. For GameBattles, tournaments and any other competitions, we record matches to insure fair play. In ranked rooms we'll do whatever you're doing right back.

One of the fastest ways to be removed from this team is for one of the leaders, co-leaders or captains to catch you glitching in a ranked room or competitive match. We don't care if we're loosing 100-0 and nobody has a kill. We give our opponents a fair match.

We're also against rank-up exploits and this will be handled in the same manner as glitching or cheating!!!

On the contrary, you can make a custom (unranked) match and do whatever you want. We want to know all the current glitches and exploits so we know what to watch for in matches. As long as the match counts for nothing, we don't care.

"We Ride Together, We Die Together"

We always play as a team. If you're on a game and other members are on the same game, you must play in the same room on the same side. Playing together is the fastest way to learn how your teammates play and the callouts they use. You'll learn each other's style and tendencies, this is better for the team in the long run. We do understand that this isn't always possible, but do your best to get with your team.

No members of Defiant Ones are permitted to run with any other clans. You can not wear other teams tags or be on their rosters. You're with us or you're not. The only exception to this rule is if you're playing a game that no other D.O member are playing. If we've moved on to another game or haven't picked up the game that you want to play, then you can roll with another team on that game.

Along with this, make yourself available. 95% of this team has each others phone numbers or AIM. If you don't have AIM, download it, it's free. Some of us even use Skype, we have members outside the United States and sometimes a call is needed. Especially if you want to play on a competitive roster.
